Years ago, I had a training coordinator named Diana. My boss looked at her job title and decided he already knew what her job was—and questioned how a role like that could keep someone busy full-time. I knew he was wrong. Diana was also recruiting, coordinating across departments, and building the systems that kept us running. I just couldn't find the words to make her value visible to him in time.
Diana left. She found an employer who might better see her value.
I built the My Value App so the next Diana would never have to leave to be seen.
I spent most of my career running training organizations, watching capable people get passed over—not because they didn't produce, but because they couldn't prove it. So I built the Meaningful Competence® Toolkit: a way for people to identify, measure, increase, and share the value they already create. CorporateBall grew out of the same conviction, told as a story instead of a pitch.
